11/30/2006 - What Kind of Pocky are You?

Yes, I admit it.  I'm a Pocky junkie.  I am seriously addicted to those yummy butter cookie sticks coated with chocolate or flavored couverture.  (Like the strawberry ones above, but those aren't exactly my cup of tea.)

Personally, though, my favorite Pocky flavors are the Bitter Black (70% dark chocolate), Royal Milk Tea (mottled white chocolate flavored with Earl Gray Tea), and Mont Blanc (an elaborately decorated variant with a chocolate-and-chestnut coating.)

Here in the Philippines, the more common Pocky flavors (plain chocolate, almond crush, and strawberry) can be found at Japanese specialty groceries and even in the imported snack aisles of major supermarkets.
