In Asia, Uzbekistan and Bahrain will play each other home and away on 8 and 12 October to find out who will have a chance to meet the 4th placed CONCACAF team in a further playoff. The Uzbeks will want to make sure they give themselves a good chance for the away leg with at least a repeat performance of last month's match that they won 1-0, but that was later annulled following a refereeing blunder.
