Some of you are missing a few (old) entries in your blogs.

Uploading files

Guys,

We started to restore the ability to upload files but it takes a little longer as expected.

If this is done  you are also able to use the podcast and upload files for that.

Be patient we are getting there!

Bloxster weblog updates

Hi all,

We are almost ready !

There are some exciting new features at Bloxster coming up. We are at the end of our beta testing fase.

As I said earlier we only go for quality so it takes (much) more time then we expected.

We are going to implement the new features within this month. Our site will be changed again to a much more professional level so be prepared.

This week we are going to move to our new blog system so expect some changes when your log in.

Again a list of some new features:

-Users can now have multiple weblogs.
-Weblog owners can add other members (co-authors).
-Added photo albums.
-Added podcasting (including podcast RSS feed).  
-Improved file uploading system, now includes thumbnails.
-Added private message system.
-Improved user profile page.
-Added moblog (mobile blogging) capability, send entries to your blog by email or using your mobile phone !
-Added several new templates.
-Added calendar template variables.
-Added image upload feature directly on WYSIWYG entry composer.
-Improved horizontal menu system and default skin.
-Profile fields now linked on profile page, users can be listed by any field.
-Added "dashboard"-style entry page after login.

These exciting new features will be absolutely free !

Important ! "annual cleaning maintainance of our server".

All blogs older then 2 months with less then 1 entry will be deleted.

Your weblog is also removed if you didn't use your weblog at all for the last 3 months, if you do not use our service anymore we remove your weblog and remove you from this mailing list.

For the rest of you all, you are very important to us and we will reward our excisting members with special offers on additional services !

Next we implement our new hardware so preformance will be even better then it already is.

After that later this week we implement the new features.

Ipod contest

By the way we are about to close our IPod contest this month so go for it while you still can, but don't worry if you did not win this time because a new exciting contest is going to be launched soon. All winners will be notified by email. Our contest is still available

New features update

We are still in the testing fase regarding the new promised features. This takes much longer then expected but we will lauch them as soon as possible. We only go for quality, sorry for the delay in our estimated release date.

New Bloxster website Update

We just lauched our new homepage.

Our other pages will be changed during the day and the entire site will be changed completely by tomorrow.

Some of our new pages do not work at this time, but the excisting page are working as normal.

Our new homepage contains a section called featured weblogs.

Featured weblogs are blogs that we at bloxster think are great and represent our weblog hosting services the right way !

If you have great weblog keep an eye on our website because we plan to change the featured blog section on a regular basis.

Your weblog on our front page gives you a lot of extra visitors so work hard and create a stunning weblog!
